2019 NC Mock Line Strike Exhibits Information, Rules, & Regulations

PLEASE REVIEW THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE RESERVING AN EXHIBIT SPACE.  During the online registration process exhibitors will be asked to confirm they have reviewed the following details and will be expected to abide by them during the 2019 NC Mock Line Strike event.

General Rules & Regulations

  1. Exhibit space is being provided with the understanding that NC811 and the Cabarrus Arena and Event Center are not liable for any occurrences due to the negligence of the exhibitor.  Exhibitors, their successors and assigns, agree to save and hold harmless NC811 and any of its employees, and from all cost, injury, and damage incurred by any of the above, and from any other injury or damage to any person or property whatsoever, any of which is caused by an activity, condition, or event arising out of the performance, preparation for performance or nonperformance of any provision of this agreement by Exhibitors. Exhibitors agree to maintain such insurance that will fully protect the NC811 from any and all claims of any nature, including claims under the Workers’ Compensation Act and for damages for personal injury, including death, which may arise in connection with the operation of the exhibitor’s display and which is caused by the negligence of the exhibitor.
  2. Exhibitors will abide by all other provisions of said rules and regulations, fire regulations and all other regulations of government agencies and the Cabarrus Arena and Event Center.
  3. NC811 will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any equipment or materials.
  4. NC811 will have sole control over the admission of persons to the exhibit area.


Exhibit Space Description

  1. All exhibit spaces will be 10’ by 10’ deep.  The cost per booth is $400. 
  2. Each exhibit space will be furnished with
         One (1) 8’ table   
         Two (2) chairs
  3. We have exhibit spaces for 40 vendors.
  4. Exhibitors will provide other furnishings at their own expense.
  5. Phone lines, water, and electrical sources are NOT available.
  6. Exhibitors may provide their own sign within their exhibit area.
  7. Large equipment is not allowed inside the Cabarrus Arena and Event Center building.  Large equipment is heavy machines, heavy trucks, construction equipment, engineering equipment, heavy vehicles, or heavy hydraulics.  Large equipment upon approval can be displayed outside in front of the Cabarrus Arena and Event Center.
  8. Small equipment upon approval may be displayed inside the Cabarrus Arena and Event building provided it contains less than 1 gallon of fuel and the battery cable is disconnected.
  9. All demonstrations and exhibits must be confined to the exhibit space and shall be limited to displays, which can fit on the top of the table or within an approximate 10’ wide by 10’ deep space.
  10. No exhibitor shall assign, sublet, or share the whole or any part of the exhibit space provided.
  11. The NC811 and its authorized representatives reserve the right to request the modification of any questionable exhibit.
  12. Exhibitors will make their own arrangements for delivery and receipt of any shipments related to their exhibit.
  13. Gift drawings and giveaways are permitted at the booths, typical giveaways, such as; pencils, pens, glasses, cups, etc.


Sponsor/Vendor Registration and Payment

  2. In the event of cancellation of an exhibitor, NC811 will make space available to another party requesting exhibit space based on the order in which the requests are received.  Once reserved, the Exhibit Space cost is non-refundable.


Event Schedule

  1. The exhibit area will be available for set-up at approximately 10:00 am on Tuesday (October 1st ) and set-up must be completed by 5:00 pm on Tuesday (October 1st). Further details will be provided before the event.
  2. All exhibits and equipment must be dismantled and removed by 5:00 pm on Wednesday (October 2nd). Type your paragraph here.
